Watts are not lumens
Wattage tells you nothing about brightness on an LED. The 25W Dyson emits 850 lm; the 30W Neatfi XL emits 2,500 lm. Optical design sets usable task light, so aim for roughly 500 lumens for general desk work and 800+ for drafting or detail work.
Measure the desk edge first
Every clamp here has a hard thickness limit — Micomlan 2.5 in, ONEMIX 2.75 in, Neatfi clamps about 2.4 in. A thicker edge or a glass top means a weighted base instead, and thin laminate needs the silicone pad fitted or the clamp will dent it. Check arm reach too: a 414 mm arm does not cross a 30-inch-deep desk.
An integrated LED is a disposable lamp
