Amazon's US phone results are padded with Renewed, refurbished, carrier-locked and "International Version" SKUs that are not the same product at the same price. "Android lets you install anything" expires
Google's developer-verification requirement starts restricting user sideloading on 2026-09-30 in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, and goes global on certified devices during 2027. Apple, meanwhile, already permits notarised third-party marketplaces inside the EU under the DMA.
