Logitech's Logi Bolt receivers are not cross-compatible with the older Unifying dongles — a drawer full of Unifying receivers pairs zero of the current MX and Signature mice. Check what is in the box, and keep a USB port free.
DPI is a decoy
Above about 4,000 DPI nothing improves for office work — the 30K and 26K sensors here matter only for multi-monitor or precision design work. Judge the scroll wheel instead; free-spin, tilt and a thumb wheel are what you actually use all day.
The older flagship now costs more
The MX Master 3S Standard Edition lists at $125.79 — above the newer MX Master 4 at $119.99, so the old "buy the 3S to save money" advice is dead. The Razer's $56.60 is a late-July promo that has traded as high as $99.99 this year. Check live prices before buying either.
