1MORE Z30

$50
~$50 on Amazon, in stock · a real discount — SoundGuys listed it at $79.99 earlier in 2026, so treat $50 as today's price, not the standing one
$30 under your budget

The cheapest bud here genuinely shaped for sleep rather than adapted to it — 2.7g, 7.5mm thin, white noise built in. Distilled from 10 sources.

Fit ledger — need → measured evidence

THINNEST BUD HERE
2.7g per bud and 7.5mm thin — slimmer than most true-wireless earbuds and flush enough to side-sleep on, which the stemmed TOZO Crystal Pods are not.
SOUND WITH NO APP
Built-in white noise with five auto-off timers and a balanced-armature driver — nothing to install to fall asleep to something.
PLAYS YOUR AUDIO
It streams Bluetooth too, so podcasts and audiobooks work — but 1MORE omits the microphone to keep the shell thin, so it cannot take a call.
HOW MUCH IT BLOCKS
24dB of ambient reduction claimed, from the seal alone — 1MORE's own bullets describe passive isolation, so the seal is the whole story.
UNDER $80
$50 today against the $79.99 SoundGuys listed earlier in 2026 — $30 of headroom, and the only wireless sleep-shaped bud under that price.

The catch — co-equal billing, always

The "noise cancelling" in the name is marketing. 1MORE's own bullets describe passive isolation, not an active circuit — there is no ANC at $50, no microphone for calls, and 1MORE publishes no per-charge battery figure for the Z30 at all. You are buying a very thin shell and a white-noise generator.

Dealbreaker? The Sleep A30 is the cheapest real ANC here ↓

Every product has a catch. Verdicts that hide it are how bad buys happen.

Don't buy this if…

Wrong product for you is still a bad buy. These are the cases where we'd send you somewhere else.

Traps — this verdict avoids

Why the 1MORE Z30 is right for you

It avoids every trap below — and for just me, under $80, it is the pick because it delivers:

Trap 01

Three products, one name

Three different things are sold as sleep earbuds: buds that stream your own audio, buds that only play preloaded sound, and ANC earplugs like the QuietOn 4 that play no audio at all — no Bluetooth, no masking, no music, for 28 hours a charge. Buying one expecting to fall asleep to a podcast is the most common mismatch in this category.

Trap 02

Startups die mid-purchase

Four of the eight products on the previous revision of this comparison went dead within five weeks. SoundOff Sleep's site no longer resolves in DNS, the Kokoon Nightbuds were discontinued after Philips bought the brand, and the 1MORE ComfoBuds Z and TOZO Crystal Buds both read Currently unavailable. A dead bud usually means a dead companion app too — re-check availability before ordering from any single-product sleep-tech startup.

Trap 03

Your ears need nights off

All-night occlusion traps earwax and reduces circulation in the canal, raising the risk of impaction and outer-ear irritation — clean the tips and give your ears occasional nights off. Isolation this deep is also a safety question: 25-30dB of passive blocking plus 10-20dB of ANC can mute a smoke alarm, a CO alarm or a crying child.
