Sennheiser sells the Momentum 4 (~$220) and Momentum 5 (~$399.95) side by side, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra exists as 1st Gen (24h, BT 5.3) and 2nd Gen (30h, aptX Adaptive, BT 5.4). The listings look identical — confirm the generation before you pay.
A codec you can't use
The hi-res codec is source-device dependent. LDAC needs Android, aptX Adaptive needs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or newer, and Apple devices are stuck on SBC/AAC no matter what the headphone supports. Match the codec to your phone before paying for it.
