Price, not product
The Bose QuietComfort was ~$179 in June and is ~$359 today — the Bose Summer Sale ended 2026-07-26 and the listing snapped back to MSRP. Six of these fifteen models moved more than 15% in six weeks, in both directions. A price older than a month cannot be trusted in this category.
Listed, but unbuyable
Soundcore Space Q45, Edifier WH950NB and the 1More SonoFlow SE all show Currently unavailable on Amazon US — the ~$112, ~$119 and ~$30 figures you will see quoted are last-known, not live. Cheap ANC listings churn in and out of stock faster than they reprice.
LDAC you cannot use
iPhones are capped at SBC/AAC, so the LDAC hi-res badge on the CMF, EarFun and Soundcore models does nothing on iOS. On Android it is real — hi-res is now standard at $70-80 — but do not pay a premium for a codec your phone cannot speak.
