HDMI 2.1 port counts here run from two to four, and one port doubles as eARC on every single set. The Sony BRAVIA 8 II, Panasonic Z95B and TCL QM8K have only two — plug in a soundbar and exactly one console fits.
Burn-in has a 1-year warranty
Static HUDs are the real long-term risk on an OLED gaming set. LG and Samsung cover burn-in only under the standard 1-year US panel warranty and neither offers a dedicated multi-year burn-in guarantee — budget for a retailer protection plan, or buy Mini-LED.
Game Mode is the dimmer mode
Headline brightness figures (up to ~5,000 nits on the Hisense U8QG) are 10%-window HDR measurements taken outside Game Mode. Every set here is dimmer while gaming, and Game Mode also bypasses part of the picture processing.
