Fit ledger — need → measured evidence
■ The catch — co-equal billing, always
Three years of warranty, not twelve. Steelcase, Herman Miller and Haworth cover 12 years with user-replaceable cylinders, casters and arm pads; Sihoo covers 3. The V2 also only launched on 17 April 2026, so long-term durability is unproven, and reviewers found the headrest sits low for anyone over 6'4".

Traps — this verdict avoids
Why the Sihoo Doro C300 Pro V2 is right for you
It avoids every trap below — and for anyone, no budget cap, it is the pick because it delivers:
"Ergonomic" is a claim, not a spec
The word means nothing until it maps to adjustments: seat height, seat depth, lumbar adjustable in height and firmness, a lockable recline with separate tilt tension, and multi-axis arms. A fixed moulded lumbar bulge is not adjustable lumbar. Every pick here is graded against that list, not against brand copy.
Fit decides before features
If a chair's seat-height range does not reach your knee-crease height with feet flat, no feature rescues it. The Karman's shallow, non-adjustable pan suits roughly 5'2"–5'10"; the Branch Verve is sized 5'0"–6'0" and rated 275 lb; the Aeron's A/B/C shells are rated 300/350/400 lb. Match the body first.
Last quarter's price is fiction
Between June and August 2026 the Steelcase Gesture, Leap V2 and Karman all returned to list — +25% each in five weeks — and the Sihoo M56 rose 112%, from about $80 to $169.99. Every price here was re-fetched from Amazon on 2026-08-06 and should be re-checked before you buy.
