Phantom flight time
Every flight-time spec is an ideal-condition maximum — no wind, hovering. Real-world flying delivers only 70–80% of the rating, so a "52-minute" drone lands closer to 35–40 minutes once there's any wind.
The 250-gram line
Any camera drone over 250 g requires FAA registration in the US (and operator registration in the EU/UK). Sub-250g models skip it — but bolting on propeller guards or accessories can push weight back over the line.
Buying a dead line
Autel killed its entire EVO Nano/Lite consumer line in July 2025, and DJI landed on the FCC Covered List in Dec 2025 — remaining stock sells only through official stores and future US sales are uncertain.
