Indie games discount constantly — actual prices swing 30-75% during Steam sales, Mewgenics hit 25% off ($22.49) in a July 2026 weekend deal, and Balatro, Hollow Knight and Stardew Valley all routinely drop under $10. Paying full price on a whim is the avoidable mistake.
The top row is not your game
Genre taste dominates here — a roguelike-deckbuilder fan and a cozy-farming-sim fan want completely different games.
