The update window is the spec
Samsung guarantees seven years of OS and security updates on the Tab S11 line. Google has already ended OS upgrades for the Pixel Tablet (security patches only through 2028), and most budget brands promise one to four years. Check the support window before you check the screen.
The pen and keyboard are extra
Styli are brand-locked and never cross-compatible. A Samsung Book Cover Keyboard adds $200 or more, the Pixel Tablet's charging speaker dock is sold separately (and is required for casting), and the REDMAGIC Astra ships without a power adapter. Only the two Lenovo picks here include their accessory bundle.
Ghost brands and grey imports
OnePlus announced its exit from North America and Europe in July 2026 — every Pad 3 listing on Amazon US now reads "Currently unavailable" with no restocks. Xiaomi runs no official US channel at all, so US listings under its name are grey-market importers with no US warranty and no US support.
